Henry G. Young
C.E.O 

Mr. Henry G. Young is the CEO of Fortune Bancorp, Inc.   Mr. Young has over 22 years of experience in the Mortgage Banking and Real Estate industry.  As its CEO, Mr. Young has quickly established Fortune Bancorp as a well respected real estate service firm in California.  With operations in Real Estate Lending, Real Estate Sales, Loan Sale Advisory Services and Loss Mitigation, Fortune Bancorp has successfully evolved into one of the industry’s most dynamic real estate services companies.

Prior to establishing Fortune Bancorp, Mr. Young was with Custom Home Loans, Inc. as its Executive Vice-President, Chief Operating Officer.  In this capacity, Mr. Young was responsible for the planning, management and administration of all phases of mortgage lending activities, including retail originations, secondary marketing, underwriting, and investor relations.   Mr. Young successfully converted Custom Home Loans from a mortgage brokerage to a full-scale mortgage banking operation. With his leadership, Custom Home Loans became the largest Mortgage Banker in the state of Nevada funding over $1 billion a year.

Mr. Young also served as the Senior Vice-President, Director of Mortgage Lending for East West Bank.  As the Director of Residential Lending and Income Property Lending, Mr. Young was responsible for overseeing the entire mortgage lending activities for the bank including retail/wholesale production, marketing, processing, underwriting, quality control, secondary marketing and compliance.  Mr. Young had also expanded the division to include small commercial real estate lending.  Mr. Young was with East West Bank for 10 years from 1995 – 2004 and has held previous management positions with companies such as First Interstate Bank and Keros-Mozilo Mortgage Bankers.

Mr. Young received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and is also a graduate of Mortgage Bankers Assoc.’s School of Mortgage Banking.  Mr. Young previously served on the Secondary Marketing Committee for the California Mortgage Bankers Association and currently holds a California Real Estate Broker License.

Darren J. DiMarco
President

Mr. Darren DiMarco is the co-founder and President of Fortune Bancorp, Inc.  Mr. DiMarco is a California attorney, and has over 22 years of experience in the Mortgage Lending industry.  Prior to establishing Fortune Bancorp, Mr. DiMarco was a principal owner of Capri Financial Group, Inc., a successful mortgage brokerage company specializing in residential and private lending.

At Capri Financial, Mr. DiMarco successfully led the company from a start-up firm to a profitable mortgage company offering loan products ranging from A-paper to Sub-prime to Private Money loans.  Throughout this period, Mr. DiMarco gained extensive experience in handling all types of real estate issues including underwriting, loss mitigation, and transactional services.  Additionally, he was able to build a substantial network of borrowers and investors which he maintains today.

Now, and for many years past, Mr. DiMarco represents both property owners and note holders in loan workouts, foreclosure-related matters, and sale transactions. He also negotiates the sale of notes and REO properties.

Mr. DiMarco has been a member of the State Bar of California since 1996, and holds a California Real Estate Broker License.
